Date Night at Disney World

One of my favorite topics to write about is date night at Disney World. My husband and I have been traveling to The World before we were even married! After starting a family, date night means even more. Regardless, date night in Disney World is magical!

Here are all of our ideas to plan the best night out for you and your date! We already did full length posts for each location, but here is a quick overview as well as the links to each full article!

Epcot

Epcot is my favorite Disney World theme park for date night! For table service, we adore Spice Road Table in the Moroccan pavilion. The food is really delicious and flavorful without being too exotic. Plus, you get some of the best fireworks views! I love La Cantina de San Angel for quick service and La Cava del Tequila for an intimate lounge experience. You can’t go wrong!

Seeing the nighttime show, Epcot Forever, is a must-do! You can also work the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party into the evening. If there’s a special festival around, look into incorporating those events into your special night!

Magic Kingdom

Date night at Magic Kingdom is definitely magical! It is fun to walk around and enjoy the nostalgic sights and sounds with your date. When spending the evening in Magic Kingdom, we prefer to snack rather than enjoy a full sit down meal. Our favorite locations include Sleepy Hollow and Gaston’s Tavern! I’m right now craving a sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich and a LeFou’s brew!

An evening wouldn’t be complete without seeing Happily Ever After or conquering the Mountain Challenge! If you’re visiting during one of the special parties, be sure to check those out!

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom has come a long way with nighttime offerings! Disney worked hard to turn it into a late night park and they succeeded! Animal Kingdom is home to our favorite quick service location in all of Disney World, Satu’li Canteen. However, if you’re looking for a nice sit down experience, try out Yak and Yeti!

If you want to give your date night an air of exclusivity, Savor the Savanna is the perfect thing! You and your date will treated to an evening on the savanna which includes private viewing areas and a special tappas and beverages.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios is the “it” park right now with the opening of Galaxy’s Edge! Don’t worry because there is still plenty to eat, see, and do beyond Star Wars. For instance, we love going and having a great time and amazing food over at 50’s Prime Time Cafe. Then enjoy a specialty cocktail at The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge or a cool pint of craft beer at BaseLine Tap House.

Be sure to top off your evening with Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party and a viewing of Fantasmic!

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is a haven for all foodies! There are so many outstanding dining locations. Our favorites include Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ for table service and D-Luxe Burger for quick service. We are huge wine lovers and adore The Basket at Wine Bar George.

In addition to eating, there is also plenty to do for date night at Disney Springs! You can see a movie at AMC Theaters, go on a hot air balloon ride with Characters in Flight, or even go on a river cruise in an Amphicar!

BoardWalk

Our last stop for date night in Disney World is the BoardWalk. This is a picturesque area, especially in the evening. Plus, there are some late, late night offerings! We love the BoardWalk Bakery (arguably the best bakery on property) as well as AbracadaBar.

The late, late night offerings including Jellyrolls dueling piano bar. You can even dance the night away at the Atlantic Dance Hall!
