Table Service
There are a lot of table service options at Disney Springs! It can be very overwhelming when trying to select one. Being in Florida, my husband and I tend to gravitate toward seafood (at least my husband does!) and southern cuisine. Thus, here are our top table service restaurants for a Disney Springs date night! Regardless of where you select to dine, be sure to grab those Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs)!
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Two words when dining at Homecomin’… Fried. Chicken. I don’t know what it is, but we go on a date night at Disney Springs and it’s all about the fried, yummy poultry goodness! The chicken is perfectly crisp and crunchy on the outside then warm and juicy on the inside. You just can’t go wrong! This famous fried chicken comes in a few iterations including Thing High Chicken and Biscuits (an appetizer), the Friend Chicken Sandwich (main course), Art’s Famous Fried Chicken (main course), and Fried Chicken and Donuts (main course). The Momma’s Mac and Cheese is also on point and the perfect side to the fried chicken. Just be sure to wear comfy pants when dining at Homecomin’!!
The BOATHOUSE
The BOATHOUSE features picturesque waterfront dining that will surely be a hit with your date! This location boasts incredibly fresh seafood, including a raw bar, and premium steaks. This makes for the ideal surf-and-turf dining location (or just turf, if you’re like me 😉 ). If you have room for a truly impressive dessert, check out the S’Mores Baked Alaska! I love their wine and specialty cocktail selections. If you’re not up for a full meal, be sure to stop by the Dockside Bar where you can enjoy delicious libations next to the Amphicar launch.
Quick Service
There is so much to do at Disney Springs, that you and your date may not want to take the time to sit down for a meal. Don’t worry, because there are some wonderful quick service options to please any palate!
D-Luxe Burger
This is our go-to, must-do quick service stop at Disney Springs. My husband and I both agree that D-Luxe Burger has the best burger on Disney property. Let’s face it, sometimes all you need is an amazing, juicy burger on date night! Each burger is cooked-to-order at your desired temperature (no, you don’t have to get well-done!). The fries are some of our favorites and the sauces are to die for (horseradish, anyone?). What’s best is that D-Luxe Burger accepts Mobile Ordering (and has some secret menu items available).
Earl of Sandwich
We enjoy a solid sandwich, and Early of Sandwich has just that! This is a no-frills quick service spot located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. They serve up a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and soups. The Holiday Turkey sandwich is the go-to classic on the menu (I never turn down holiday food!). You can grab a table outside and relax with your date!
Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza
Want to customize your pizza and receive it super fast?! Then Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is right for you! You select your crust and toppings then the pizza oven does the rest. If you’re not in the creative mood, you can chose from one of their signature pizza combinations. My husband and I are very picky about pizza, and Blaze does not disappoint. There’s a reason it is at the top of everyone’s Disney Springs quick service list!
Lounges/Snacks
When we are on vacation, sometimes all we do is snack with a few drinks! Disney Springs has some whimsical options when it comes to snack and lounge locations.
The Daily Poutine
We adore french fries and nothing beats that Canadian classic, poutine! The Daily Poutine serves up the original poutine with cheddar cheese curds and gravy. They also have some fun alternatives and seasonal favorites! It’s located just outside of the World of Disney store. So grab a poutine snack with your date and do a little shopping!
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
If you or your date loves Indiana Jones, then stopping by Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is a must! The theming in this bar is unparalleled. You have to keep your eyes open for some fun Easter eggs hidden throughout the decor! You can dine inside and marvel at all the paraphernalia or enjoy your drinks outside on the dock. Jock Lindsey’s has some snacks with fun names. Air Pirate’s Pretzels or Snakebite Sliders, anyone?! They also serve up whiskey or beer flights along with whimsical signature cocktails.
The Basket at Wine Bar George
My husband and I always enjoy a good glass of wine to unwined (pun intended). Thus, Wine Bar George is always on our list. We enjoy The Basket portion of Wine Bar George because you can take wine and snacks on the go! We are big snackers on vacation and love strolling around Disney Springs, especially in the evening.
Those are our picks for date night eats at Disney Springs! Be sure to check back next time for a list of things to do. Disney Springs date night won’t disappoint!
Until next time! Cheers!!
