Disney Springs is the perfect backdrop for date night!

See a Movie

Disney Springs is home to an AMC Movie Theater that always has the latest releases! This isn’t your average theater, however. You reserve a seat and can eat a meal (or just enjoy drinks and an appetizer) while enjoying the movie!

Shop!!

There is so much shopping at Disney Springs!! There are places for every budget and style. Even if you’re not in the market for anything, it is just fun to walk around and browse. This is the ONLY place my husband actually enjoys shopping and browsing! I take full advantage of that every time ;). We always stop by the World of Disney Store and Disney’s Days of Christmas stores to look for souvenirs! We also enjoy Uniqlo for some cheaper Disney fashion (I adore their sweatshirt dresses. They are perfect with leggings!).

You and your date can shop ’til you drop!

Ride in a Balloon

You can’t miss the balloon adorned with silhouettes of popular Disney characters! Characters in Flight is the hot air balloon that soars high over Disney Springs! You and your date will adore seeing The World from above. This experience is $20 USD per adult (ages 10+ yrs), but keep your eyes peeled for Groupon!

Go Bowling

Splitsville Luxury Lanes is a great place to go and get your bowl on! They do have a dining room, so you can always sit down to eat before bowling (or even eat while you bowl!). They also have billiards and bars you and your date will surely enjoy! Regardless, check in early or sign in online to reserve your lane as wait times can get pretty long!

Go for a Cruise

Adjacent to The BOATHOUSE is the Amphicar tour launch. These classic looking cars drive on land and splash into the water! You and your date can enjoy a 20 minute, guided Amphicar tour on the waters around Disney Springs. The cost for this excursion is $125 USD. However, if you spend $50 USD at The BOATHOUSE restaurant or BOATIQUE store, you can receive $25 USD toward your Amphicar tour.

The Amphicars are unique to Disney Springs!

See a Live Show

Disney Springs has a decent selection of live shows you and your date can enjoy throughout the evening! Most locations are free while some require a cover or are situated at a bar.

You and your date will certainly enjoy the live entertainment at Disney Springs.

Take Some Pictures

If you’re looking for some fun pictures, be sure to stop by the Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio. You and your date can take pictures with magical digital backdrops and fun props! You can purchase the pictures or they are included if you have Memory Maker. This is a great way to commemorate your date night! Be sure to read our guide about Disney’s PhotoPass service and Memory Maker to see if it is right for you!

Shoot Some Hoops

Last, but certainly not least, is the brand new NBA Experience! If you or your date loves basketball, then this should be at the top of your Disney Springs date night ideas list. You can, of course, shoot some hoops, feel what it’s like to get scouted, and see how you measure up to NBA stars and legends! Tickets for this experience are $34 USD per adult (aged 10+ yrs).

Check out this brand new experience at Disney Springs!

I hope you enjoyed our Disney Springs date night ideas list! Between this post and Part 1, I’m sure you can plan the most magical evening.

Cheers!!
