The Best Tips for Making the Most of Your Disney World Vacation

Hi folks and welcome back to an all new post! I’m going to start a new series where we share our favorite tips for making the most of your Disney World vacation. Today we will talk about tips that are general to Disney World and, beginning next week, I will go park-by-park! So… let’s begin!

#1 Use Mobile Order

I can’t stress this one enough when purchasing quick service meals at Disney World. Mobile order is the way to go! Just open up the My Disney Experience app, press the “+” in the bottom menu, select “order food”, and choose from the local restaurants. We have a full tutorial on using Mobile Order, so be sure to check it out. Now, with the pandemic, most eateries at Disney World only do Mobile Order. Regardless, you’ll be pleased with the amount of time you save!

Pro Tip: Reserve your pick-up time as soon as you enter the park or Disney Springs for the day! Since most places require Mobile Order, the pick-up times can all be reserved early in the day.

#2 Get There Early

The “early bird gets the worm” is definitely true at Disney World! No matter your destination, you’ll want to arrive as early as possible (rope dropping is best) to ensure you maximize your time. Crowds tend to be lowest in the morning, so you’ll be able to get more done! You can check the hours online or on your Disney World Resort tv!

#3 Make a List of Must-Do’s

Before you even get to Disney World, you’ll want to check out what attractions, food, and experiences that are at the top of your priority list. There is SO much to do, that you’ll never get to it all in one visit. However, if you have an idea of things that you absolutely must do, it’ll make it easier in the long run! Plus, this “homework” just builds the anticipation of your vacation!

These are our BEST tips for making the most of your Disney World vacation! Check back next week as we will go park-by-park and share our secrets for maximizing your time.

Until then… Cheers!!!
