Welcome back to the Sunday Snippet series! I can’t believe it is the first Sunday in August. Time is just flying by, but I am excited for today’s Snippet. The Main Street Electrical Parade Returns to Disneyland for a limited time!

As a kid, I remember seeing the Main Street Electrical Parade in Disney World! It doesn’t matter how old you are, there is something magical about seeing the dazzling parade floats in the evening. The parade made its last run in 2017… Or so we thought! The beloved Main Street Electrical Parade returned to Disneyland Park on Aug. 2, 2019! The iconic parade will travel down Main Street, U.S.A., for a limited-time engagement, through Sept. 30.
The Main Street Electrical Parade features 22 twinkling floats featuring 80 performers. There are actually 35 lighted costumes worn by the performers! There are 6 different colors of light bulbs that flash throughout the parade, in amber, blue, green, chartreuse, red and pink. Amber is the most popular color!
