HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY and welcome back to another Sunday Snippet installation! Disney announced some details about the 24th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival this year. Oh my gosh the excitement! So let’s dive in!

Festival Dates & Marketplaces
The Festival will run for a whopping 87 days! That’s right… 87. DAYS. We get to sip, savor, and enjoy it for a dozen more days compared to last year! The event will begin Aug. 29 and run through Nov. 23. This year, 30 marketplaces will be serving up the greatest culinary offerings around Future World and World Showcase. We will find out more about the mouthwatering food and beverage options later on!
Eat to the Beat Concert Series
The park will again host the Eat to the Beat concert series. Fans can enjoy their favorite bands at the American Gardens Theater including returning favorites Plain White T’s, Sugar Ray, Hanson, Sheila E. and Boyz II Men. New artists this year are Lauren Daigle, Kris Allen, Sawyer Brown and Boyce Avenue. Showtimes Sundays through Thursdays will be 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday shows are at 6:30, 7:45 and 9 p.m. Dining packages will be available to secure seating!
Family Activities
The Disney du Jour Dance Party will be returning to Future World and run 7 days a week! Celebrity headliners will be running the show on the weekends for the entire family to enjoy. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt and the popular Candy Sushi making experience will again be featured at this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
Special Reservation Programming
Party for the Senses will kick off on Sept. 21 and include dates on Oct. 5, 12 and 19 (All Disney Chef Night!) and Nov. 9. This event showcases creative food and beverages and features live performances by Femmes of Rock! The “Mix it, Make it, Celebrate it” hands-on workshops will be back. Don’t pass up the opportunity to work side-by-side with a visiting chef, mixologist, or baker! Popular TV chefs and culinary icons will return to lead expert seminars. Want to learn more or participate in a tasting session? Then don’t miss the culinary demonstrations or beverage seminars! The Sunday Brunch with the Chef series will kick off Sept. 1 with celebrity Chef Jamie Deen. Other chefs to join the Sunday Brunch line-up include Cat Cora, Carla Hall, Fabio Viviani, Andrew Zimmern, Buddy Valastro, Richard Blais, Robert Irvine, David Burtka, Graham Elliot and Aarti Sequeira.
