Hi all and welcome back to our Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort series. Today’s post will be about the off-property activities you and your family can enjoy! Who knew there is even more fun to be had beyond everything offered on-property?

Coastal Excursions
Although not offered on-property, you can easily book an amazing coastal excursion through the front desk Cast Members! Have you and your family ever wanted to go dolphin watching?! Well, now you can! Book a cruise on the open waters and allow your guide to introduce you to the local dolphins… by name!
Guided Nature Walks
A Naturalist will guide you through one of several locations to introduce you to the many habitats and animals located on the island! You can choose from a Beach Nature Walk, Resort Nature Walk, or Pinckney Island Nature Walk. You’ll definitely want to check out and learn about the Loggerhead Seas Turtles!! And, who knows, you may even see a gator or two!
Golf
Hilton Head Island is known for its golf courses. The resort doesn’t have any courses on-property, but there are discounts available if you book through them. This is a very popular activity, so be sure to call 60 days ahead to make sure you can tee off! Here is a list of courses that have discounts through Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort:

Tennis
There are over 300 tennis courts on Hilton Head Island! If you’re a seasoned pro or a novice, this is the place to work on that serve. Hard, clay, and covered courts are available for reservation. All court fees and services are subject to the individual tennis centers. Call Guest Services (843) 341-4150 for rate and more information.
Visit Savannah, Georgia
You and your family can rent a boat or hop on a ferry to visit beautiful Savannah, Georgia! This quaint city is a must-see that everyone will surely enjoy. While you’re there, don’t forget to have a meal at the famous The Pirate’s House. The prices are reasonable and the portions are HUGE. Make sure you go with an appetite and stretchy pants! You have to try the award winning Honey Pecan Fried Chicken. Mouth. Watering.
