I don’t know you, but we always look forward to bringing a bit of Disney merchandise home after a wonderful vacation in the parks. Part of the fun is finding that perfect souvenir! Thus, we MUST discuss where guests will be able to shop at Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
The Droid Depot
Arguably some of the best characters in the Star Wars series are the droids. They don’t say much, but boy do they have big personalities! Well, at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge you can stop by the Droid Depot and make your very own version to take home! Guests can select 1 of 2 models (R-series or BB-series, of course!) and begin building their custom creation from pieces that arrive on a conveyor belt! Not only can you add programming chips and accessories, the droids will be capable of interacting with Galaxy’s Edge itself! MIND. BLOWN.
Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers
An elegant weapon, the lightsaber will help any Galaxy’s Edge guest channel the Force! At Savi’s Workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to build a custom lightsaber of your very own, starting with choosing a kyber crystal (or does the crystal choose you?!).
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
This may be the ultimate location to find the ultimate Star Wars souvenir to take home! Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities will carry items such as holocrons, Jedi artifacts, Sith artifacts, and more! Dok himself, along with an Ithorian employee, will be working in the shop making sure everything is in order.
Black Spire Outpost Market
Not only will the Outpost Market be home to mouthwatering galactic treats, it will be a great place to shop at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! The Creature Stall will showcase creatures from all galaxies far, far, away while Black Spire Outfitters will carry the latest and greatest cosmic accessories! The last stall, the Toydarian Toymaker will sell toys crafted by a Toydarian (the flying alien species first seen in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace”).
Resistance vs First Order Merch
Want to show where your loyalties lie while visiting Batuu? Well, look no further than the Resistance Supply or First Order Cargo. Both merchandise locations will offer hats, pins, badges, model ships, and more. Buyers beware! Displaying your loyalty to one side or another may cause some commotion within this extremely interactive land!
I’m sure we will have even more news as the opening dates for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland (May 31) and Disney World (Aug 29) approach! Here’s a quick video by Disney Parks on YouTube featuring some of this amazing merchandise!
Until next time! Cheers!!
