Seasons greetings and welcome back to KatDoesDisney! Today’s post will continue with the holiday spirit. Let’s finish up the best holiday activities in Disney World!! Ho, Ho, Ho!!

In case you missed it, be sure to check out Part 1 of the best holiday activities!

Enjoy Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays

My family and I love Epcot, especially during the holidays. If you’re looking to celebrate with more traditional faire, then be sure to make a stop at this theme park! You don’t need a special ticket or pass to enjoy Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays. Just simply stroll along and get into the holiday spirit.

This yuletide festival features musical performances and specialty food at the outdoor Holiday kitchens. There are even costumed storytellers sharing unique holiday festivities from around the World! My family’s favorite activity is Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree. Everyone can take part in finding Chip & Dale throughout Epcot. When you finish, you get a special surprise!

Experience Magic During Epcot’s Candlelight Processional

Another of the best holiday activities in Disney World is at Epcot. The Candlelight Processional is a must-do if you’re looking for traditional yuletide cheer! This evening show is a telling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator. They are accompanied by a choir and a 50-piece orchestra! Be sure to check the schedule to see which celebrity will be narrating. Two returning favorites are Neil Patrick Harris and Whoopie Goldberg! Performances are at 5:00 PM, 6:45 PM and 8:15 PM nightly from November 29 through December 30, 2019.

If you’d like to secure your seat for the Processional, check out the Dining Packages. All you have to do is dine at a participating restaurant and attend the show for guaranteed seating!

Watch Special Festive Shows

Disney World is known for their fireworks and nighttime spectaculars. The holiday season is no exception! Be sure to stop by Hollywood Studios for Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! and Sunset Season Greetings. Both shows take place nightly. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! transforms the Chinese Theater with holiday magic from your favorite Disney Christmas classics. Sunset Season Greetings is a breathtaking projection show on the Hollywood Tower of Terror! Be sure to stay for the “snow” on Sunset Boulevard!

New this year is a holiday version of the Tree of Life Nighttime Awakening in Animal Kingdom! The Tree of Life comes alive with new wintry stories during the Christmas season.
