Hello everyone! I hope the start of your 2021 is going well. I’m excited to talk about the newest Festival to come to our favorite Disney World theme park, Epcot! Today’s post is all about the 2021 Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts!
This is traditionally the shortest and smallest of the Epcot Festivals, but that doesn’t make it any less special or fun. As a matter of fact, my family and I love this one and have a great time every visit!
What is it?
The Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts celebrates all things, that’s right, you guessed it, ARTS! This festival features culinary, performing, and visual arts from around the world. It is running now through February 22, 2021, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy all it has to offer! Plus, it is included in the cost of your regular theme park admission.
Food Studios
If you’re familiar with the outdoor kitchens scattered around the Epcot park for Food and Wine, over 15 still dot the landscape for this festival as well. What’s really neat is that, not only is the food delicious, it is actually edible works of art! New this year is the Vibrante and Vivido Food studio located between the Morocco and France Pavilions. Fun fact, this food booth is inspired by the famous Disney artist, Mary Blaire! Passion Fruit Mousse?! Yes, please!

Over 100 Visiting Artists
The 2021 Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts features over 100 artists. It is a lot of fun to wonder the park and visit the Festival Markets. These Markets sell both Disney-inspired and non-Disney artwork. In some cases, the artists themselves are actually there! You can still meet them, however, everyone must follow socially distant guidelines. The Festival Markets rotate, so each time you visit there will be something new to discover!
Additionally, there is a ton of new merchandise for the 2021 Epcot Taste of International Festival of the Arts. Your wallet is sure to be lighter after a trip to this event!
Performances
This year, the Festival showcases incredibly talented visual and musical artists! These performers rotate through the festival, but some favorites include:
- Voices of Liberty (New!): Visit the American Gardens Theater and sign along to your favorite Disney tunes!
- Art Defying Gravity: You’ll be amazed at the acrobatics of this performance that defies imagination and gravity!
- Visual Art in Performance: Check out this high energy show where a skilled artist paints a Disney-inspired art piece in a matter of minutes!
Interactive Activities
An Epcot Festival just wouldn’t be complete without some interactive activities. Following safety guidelines, fun for the whole family awaits! You can learn how to draw your favorite Disney characters at the Animation Academy. Don’t forget to stop by the paint-by-number wall to leave your own creative mark! There are also life-size figures of famous paintings that offer unique photo opportunities! As you walk, be sure to look down as there are incredible chalk artists scattered around the park. Did you know some artists are so skilled the chalk art can appear 3D?!
Finally, the 2021 Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts has a fun scavenger hunt with your favorite purple dragon, Figment! Guests of all ages can search for Figment in his hunt, Brush with the Masters. Keep those eyes peeled for Figment hiding in famous paintings! You even get a fun surprise when you’ve completed the challenge.
