Christmas has begun in Disney World! This year is a bit different than past years due to the pandemic, but that doesn’t mean that it is any less festive. One of the best places to get your fill of holiday cheer is Disney Springs! So here are the top Christmas offerings at Disney Springs in Disney World!
Christmas Tree Trail and Scavenger Hunt
If you’ve ever been to Disney Springs during Christmastime, they previously offered a Christmas Tree Stroll. They had beautifully decorated trees before the photo op with Santa Claus. Each tree was themed to a favorite Disney movie. This year, instead of having all of the trees in a central exhibit, they spread them out around the neighborhoods of Disney Springs! AND they incorporated them into a Scavenger Hunt. The hunt is completely free and you get a special prize at the end!

Santa’s Winter Watercade
Christmas at Disney Springs in Disney World wouldn’t be complete without a visit from The Man himself! Since traditional meet and greets are a no-no during a pandemic, Disney has turned to character cavalcades. These cavalcades are mini parades with your favorite characters! However, there’s a special twist on this at Disney Springs. Santa has his very own cavalcade on the water! Both Mr. and Mrs. Claus will float on by with a parade of colorful pontoon boats. I don’t think there’s a more unique way to see this holiday couple!
Floridian Flurries!
Snow in Florida?! Only with some Disney magic! That’s right, there will be some flurries in Disney Springs during the evening thanks to some pixie dust (and snoap machines!).
Festive Entertainment
Disney Springs will feature live DJ’s playing your favorite holiday tunes. Dancing is a great way to let the kiddos burn off some energy! There will also be entertaining Toy Soldier stiltwalkers and Snowflake Skaters in the evening!
Jock Lindsey’s HolidayBar
The Christmas spirit is definitely at Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar at Disney Springs in The World! Be sure to stop on by to try out their festive menu treats. Some include Grandma’s Favorite Sliders (venison!), the Milk and Cookies, as well as adult libations such as the Mistletoe Mule.
Disney’s PhotoPass Studio
Finally, make sure to stop on by Disney’s PhotoPass Studio for some merry pictures featuring their festive backdrops. This service is included in your Memory Maker package, so it’s a great way to get your money’s worth!
This is just the beginning of festive family fun at Disney World!
Tune in next week for an all new holiday post.
Until then… Cheers!!
