Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Disney World

Happy (almost) St. Patrick’s Day!! Celebrating the luck of the Irish is one of our favorite holidays. You’re luckier than a four leaf clover is you’re able to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Disney World! Here are some of the best spots to get your Erin Go Bragh on!!

Raglan Road

The first stop on your list HAS to be Raglan Road, the Irish Pub and Restaurant located in Disney Springs. This place is known for it’s amazing Irish fare. After all, the chefs are from Ireland itself, so you’re guaranteed to have an authentic meal. Check out their fish and chips or Shepherd’s Pie! The drink selection is just as good as the food.

Raglan Road is open for brunch, lunch and dinner with reservations strongly recommended. Beginning at 5 PM (or noon on weekends), there’s free live entertainment that will surely get your feet stomping! You have to check out the cast of dancers from Riverdance perform during the Rhythms of Ragland stage show. Other showtimes include:

  • Main Stage: Monday – Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturday – Sunday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Patio Stage: daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • The Rhythms of Raglan: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday—and noon to 3:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday during The Rollicking Raglan Brunch
  • Live Music and Dance Shows: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Live Bands: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

This year, Raglan Road is hosting its annual Mighty St. Patricks’ Day Festival daily from March 12-17, 2021. Although things will be smaller this year in compliance with physical distancing guidelines, there will be live performances and Irish food and drink! If you want to attend on St. Paddy’s Day itself (March 17), there will be a cover charge of $10 and a time limit of 2 hours per table. You can make a reservation for this Mighty Festival here!

This is the quintessential spot to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Disney World! And here’s a great video from the WDW Couple featuring a dining review of Raglan Road:

Rose and Crown Pub & Dining Room

Next, you’ll want to head on over to the Rose and Crown Pub & Dining Room over in Epcot. Located in the United Kingdom pavilion of World Showcase, this is a must do even if you aren’t celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Disney World! The table service dining room features traditional British cuisine. However, the pub is where it’s at on St. Paddy’s Day!

Special Themed Treats

Keep those eyes peeled for special themed treats around the Disney World property. You may just see some leprechauns (no, not really. Just kidding!). But there will be some tasty bites for sale in places like the Confectionary or Trolley Car Cafe. You may want to sink your teeth into a St. Paddy’s Day ice cream sandwich over at Dino-Bite Snacks in Animal Kingdom. For $6.99 USD, you get to enjoy mint-chocolate chip ice cream sandwiched between two giant double chocolate chip cookies and coated in shamrock sprinkles! Just take a look at this treat!

And, of course, you’ll want to pay a visit to the McDonald’s on property (did you know there’s one at The World?!) to grab your Shamrock Shake! This minty shake is only available seasonally and is so good it has a cult following!

While you’re planning your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at Disney World, don’t forget to read up on their updated face mask policies!

Until next time… Cheers!!!
