Be sure to check out last week’s post on the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays!
#1 Bake Mickey Shaped Cookies
One of our favorite ways to bring on the holiday season is to bake! Why not decorate some sweet treats to look like Mickey Mouse. Be sure to grab a special cookie cutter to make it even easier!
#2 Watch the Premier of Soul on Disney+
That’s right! Soul is skipping theaters and coming directly to Disney+ on Christmas Day. Fill your popcorn buckets and get cozy to watch the premier of this highly anticipated Pixar flick.
#3 Check Out Disney Holiday Specials
We love lighting the fireplace and turning the TV to some festive holiday shows. Nothing will bring Disney magic home for the holidays like some Christmas specials! Here are our favorites:
- Decorating Disney: Holiday Magic- Ever wonder how the Disney Parks are transformed overnight? Check out this amazing documentary on Disney+ to find out!
- Disney Holiday Singalong- We adore singing along to holiday tunes. What better way to do that then with a Disney Holiday Singalong?! Catch this special on Disney+.
- Candlelight Processional- If you’re missing the Candlelight Processional in Epcot, then you need to check it out on YouTube. It features a fan favorite narrator, Neil Patrick Harris. There’s no better way to hear the Christmas story!

#4 Go for an Evening Drive
This has been our absolute favorite was to create holiday magic. We love getting into the car with some cookies and milk, turn up the Christmas music, and drive around our neighborhood admiring the holiday lights. It’s free, festive, and fun for the whole family! Why not listen to the Disney holiday theme park soundtracks?
#5 Organize a (Virtual) Group Very Merry Christmas Party
All of us are missing the time we usually spend with friends and family during the holiday season. It just isn’t the same without having your loved ones around! Another thing we are missing this year is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Why not schedule a virtual group Christmas Party of your very own?! You all can GroupWatch a holiday movie on Disney+, eat the Mickey shaped cookies, make your own Mickey rice krispie treats, and enjoy some virtual togetherness.
We hope this gives you some ideas on creating Disney Magic in your home for the holidays. We will be back after the New Year!
Until then… stay safe and healthy! Cheers!!!
