Hi everyone! Can you believe it is the last Thursday in October? Time flies! If you’re interested in traveling to Disney World but staying off-property, be sure to check out my previous post. We had a great experience at a townhouse in the Storey Lake Resort! Today’s post is all about the great amenities they have to offer. So let’s dive in to the amenities at Storey Lake Resort near Disney World, but off-property!
Water Activities
The Floridian year-long warm weather means water activities are in abundance! Storey Lake Resort spared no expense so their guests can take advantage of this. They have a resort-style swimming pool, a lazy river, water slides, and even a splash pad area for the little ones. There is even a private sand beach!! Where else could you find all of that near Disney World?! If you’d like to enjoy all of this while relaxing in your own space, there are even private cabanas for rental.
Check each rental because most townhouses and single-family homes have their own, private pools.
Want some water sports? Don’t fret because you can even kayak or canoe at the community dock!
Dining
At Storey Club’s Hideaway Clubhouse, there is a fun Tiki Bar. Here, they serve up delicious drinks, bar food, and even have a kids menu! You can check out there menu here.
If you’re looking to enjoy your meals outside, be sure to check out their picnic area.
Sports
If you’re an active family and are looking for things to do on your resort-only days, Storey Lake has a lot of options! Break a sweat on one of their courts including tennis, basketball, and volleyball. Enjoy golf? There’s a putting green! If you need to burn off some Mickey Premium Bars, they even have a great fitness center.
