Welcome back to KatDoesDisney! Today we are going to talk about one of our most popular questions… the Disney Park bag. Being stuck in the theme parks unprepared can hinder any trip. There are a few items I’ve learned to never be without. So, I’m going to share with you the top 5 items that I always have in my Disney Park bag!

1. Sunscreen/Bug Spray
Don’t forget that sunscreen! The Floridian sun is brutal no matter the time of year. Be sure to have your own as the sunscreen in the parks is pricey! Additionally, mosquitos just love my family. So, I’m never without that bug spray!
2. Ponchos
Even if the forecast says it won’t rain, there’s a good chance it will at the Disney Parks! Thus, ponchos (either reusable or disposable) are in my park bag.
3. Water Bottles
Bottled water in the parks is pricey! Yes, you can get the free ice water at any counter service location, but it is always good to have some on hand. That Floridian heat and humidity can creep up on you at any time, so it is good practice to stay hydrated. We purchase large bottles of water using Amazon Prime and refill them as needed at the fountains or Baby Care Centers around the parks. However, you can also bring collapsible water bottles that are just as convenient!

4. Snacks & Candy
Pack snacks and candy even if you don’t think you’ll need them! I have a son and husband that get hangry at the drop of a hat. The last thing I ever want to deal with is a cranky family in the Disney Parks! I always pack some individually wrapped snacks and Dum Dums lollipops.
5. Hand Sanitizer
Disney Parks bring on the kids and kids bring along those germs! Thus, I’m sure to have hand sanitizer and antibacterial hand wipes. Call me crazy, but we all sanitize our hands before eating and I wipe down the tabletops! It is not fun being sick at Disney World!
That’s it folks! The top 5 items I always pack in my Disney Park bag. If you’re looking for my must-haves for kids, then check out this post!
Until next time… Cheers!!
